The largest segment of the everyday cyclist is over the age of 40. Many are hard working professionals, parents, and have limited time to train, let alone get in great shape. That’s why I created the CYCLO90 programs and the CYCLO90 Challenge is to help them (us) GET MORE RESULTS in less time, like under 8 Hrs!
Today’s podcast will HELP with great Q&A about weight loss, getting back in shape, Furnace Creek 508 and other needs of the everyday cyclist. ENJOY and PLEASE SHARE…

Great podcast! I fall in to the over 40 category and can not believe the gains Ive made using Cyclo 90. Ive been training with Cyclo 90 for the last 2 months and I have made better gains in that time than I have in the last 6 months. The best part is I have to ride less to get more.
Normally I would be rushed on Sunday to fit in training along with everything else that has to be done on the weekend. Got up this morning and knocked out two HIT 30′s before Church. Now I have the rest of the day for honey dos.
That’s not always a good thing! But I get your point – unfortunately I almost prefer doing two HIT sessions than going on a 90 minute ride. Feel like I get more done without getting clipped by a car. Different psychie for me and requires a diffrernt type of mental to ride outdoors on crowded streets, with cars, stopping and starting, caling out, ‘on your left’ as you pass and more. It’s great though once you get there.
I also fall into the over 4o class. The best thing I liked about this podcast was the idea of wanting to feel young again. Like a kid. I have always tried to maintain the same enthusiasm and thrill for riding… especially mtn biking. Trying to keep things new and fresh can be hard after riding the same trail systems for almost 20 years now but I manage to keep that element of anticipation intact! Challenging myself on rides is one way I do this. With the in-season workouts I have just started I didn’t take any time to pre-watch the new HIT sessions at all. It’s way more exciting to just pop it in the dvd player and wait and see what is coming.
While I don’t fall into the Over 40 Class. I do benefit from the 5-8 hours of training per week. I am a full-time student and have 2 part-time jobs. The shorter, high intensity workouts fit into my schedule fairly well, and leave me feeling good throughout the day. I find myself getting more done in the little time I have with the energy the program gives me!
You really don’t have to be over 40 for this to work and work well. As a parent of younger kids, the system works really well for the family.
