For a long time now, many of YOU have been begging me to write Off-Season Triathlon plans that use Graeme’s Cyclo-CORE/ZEN programs! Now that many of you also have my new program, Runner-CORE, you need a plan that incorporates that also! The plans are finally done! And yes, these plans DO include my NEW comprehensive functional and core strength program, Runner-CORE. Together, Cyclo-CORE/ZEN and Runner-CORE are INCREDIBLY powerful programs to help you take your off-season training to a whole new level! You will arrive in the spring with more fitness and skill than ever before, fully ready to begin your “A” race specific training and make 2008 your best season ever!
PLEASE NOTE: These plans are as much or more PRE-SEASON as they are OFF-SEASON plans! In other words, they are NOT simply comprised of ‘easy to aerobic’ efforts that match what most traditionalists think of as “OFF” season training. Rather, these plans will challenge your skills and help you slowly and methodically build your fitness in a way that will prepare you optimally for your true Pre- and In-Season training!
I have created THREE different plans to meet the needs of every level of triathlete, from the novice who is training for his or her first Olympic or Sprint, to the seasoned long course athlete who is preparing for a 70.3 or Ironman distance race. I also created a lower volume intermediate/advanced plan, if you are very tight on time. The three different plans are: Beginner to Intermediate, Intermediate to Advanced, and Intermediate to Advanced Lower Volume.
Included with each of the Triathlon Training Plans
• Each plan comes with a full 12 weeks of training and workouts, all laid out in easy-to-follow detail to ensure success. Also included are diary templates so that you can record each and every workout for future reference. Over 100 pages of training, insight, workouts, tips and information!
